Michelle Naylor
Director and Environmental Assessment Practitioner
Graduated from Rhodes University with BSc. Honours in Environmental Science. Following that, she completed her MSc. in Fisheries Science, specialising in the estuarine environment. Her academic background, allowed her to gain scientific know how and practical experience surrounding the marine, and particularly estuarine environment as well as other environmental issues, such as sustainable development and freshwater ecosystems. She has attended numerous short courses and has been certified with a Certificate of Competency in Environmental Impact Procedure, as well a certificate of Completion for Management of South African Estuaries.
Her previous work experience has allowed her to gain expertise in managing projects in line with legislative requirements and she has developed a key understanding of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998)(NEMA) as well as the National Water Act (36 of 1998) and National Waste Act (59 of 2008), amongst others.
She is a certified Professional Natural Scientist (Pr. Nat. Sci.) and a certified Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAPASA).

Njabulo Magoswana
Junior Environmental Assessment Practitioner
Holds a BSc. Honours in Environmental Geography from Nelson Mandela University. His academic background in Environmental Sciences has provided him with extensive knowledge and practical experience in understanding environmental challenges, social ecology, and sustainable development. He has furthered his expertise by attending several short courses related to Water Governance and Wastewater Management & Effluent Treatment.
In his previous role as an Integrated Water Resources Management Intern at the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI), based at the Breede-Olifants Catchment Management Agency (BOCMA), he gained valuable experience in water resource management, stakeholder engagements, and developed a deep understanding of the National Water Act (Act No. 36 of 1998).
He is a candidate Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAPASA).
